Andrew Dickinson is a photojournalism student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He began taking photos during the summer of 2009 when he was given a camera as a graduation present, and immediately fell in love with photography as a way of telling a story and is pursuing that passion as a career in college.
Andrew is currently a Senior Photographer for UNL’s independent student newspaper, the Daily Nebraskan. He travelled to Kazakhstan during the summer of 2010 for a University-funded photo trip to report on issues such as the effects of nuclear testing, cultural differences in post-soviet states and wealth disparity. He finished his summer by interning for the Northeast Nebraska News Company where he worked for 6 weekly papers in Northeast Nebraska. Andrew will be interning for ZUMA Press during the summer of 2011 and will be the 2011-2012 Photo Editor at the Daily Nebraskan.
Andrew is currently based in Lincoln, Neb., and is available for freelance assignments throughout the Midwest.

I like the new look of the blog!
